We are looking for a motivated and reliable Pharmacy Assistant (Dispenser or Technician) to join our flagship, co-owned pharmacy in Day Lewis Twyford. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a highly respected, fast-paced pharmacy that sits at the heart of the local community.
Your resident pharmacy will be Day Lewis Twyford, with occasional opportunities to support our Didcot and Sunninghill branches. You will be joining an excellent, well-established team and will have the chance to expand both your clinical and retail skills under the guidance of our co-owner and Pharmacist, who works alternate days within the pharmacy.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy environment, values patient care, and wants to grow within a progressive and supportive pharmacy business.
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm + 30 minutes unpaid lunch break

Day Lewis Twyford – 19 London Rd, Twyford, Reading RG10 9EH
Occasional Cover:
Day Lewis Sunninghill – 58 High St, Sunninghill, Ascot SL5 9NF
Day Lewis Didcot – 108 Greenwood Way, Harwell, Didcot OX11 6GD
Travel may occasionally be required. Mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile (with valid VAT receipts).
Pharmacy or dispensing experience preferred
ProScript experience desirable but not essential
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to learn and develop
UK driving licence and access to a car beneficial for occasional branch support

Your journey will begin with Day Lewis induction training, followed (if required) by completion of a Pharmacy Assistant course (typically 3–6 months depending on experience).
We are passionate about developing future Pharmacy Technicians and provide full support, including training and course reimbursement. This includes progression opportunities such as the BTEC Level 3 Diploma – Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians, supporting professional growth in an expanding clinical role.
Support the Pharmacist and dispensary in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient services
Provide excellent customer and patient care at the counter
