Pharmacy Assistant / Medicine Counter Assistant (Progression to Dispenser)

Hours of Work:

• Part-time: 20 hours per week

• Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 6:30pm

We are currently looking for a part-time Pharmacy Assistant with the ambition to progress into a Dispenser role. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and build a long-term career in medicine and clinical care.

Training & Development:
Your journey will begin with settling into the team and completing the Day Lewis induction programme. Depending on your previous experience, you may also undertake a Pharmacy Assistant course, typically completed within 3–6 months.

We are passionate about developing future Pharmacy Technicians and offer support with training, including recognised qualifications such as the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Pharmacist in delivering efficient and high-quality pharmacy services

• Providing excellent customer service at the medicine counter

• Assisting in the smooth running of the dispensary in line with company procedures

• Building strong relationships with patients and healthcare organisations

• Contributing positively to a small, dedicated team

You will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive a professional, friendly, and efficient service.
