Pharmacy Technician (GPhC Registered) – Day Lewis Huntingdon
Fixed Term (6 Months) – Potential for Permanent Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join our busy, high-performing Day Lewis pharmacy in Huntingdon.

This is a fixed-term position for 6 months, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. You’ll play an important role in supporting a fast-paced dispensary while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and patient care.

We are currently implementing hub dispensing within the pharmacy. While this supports efficiency, we strongly believe in the continued value of an experienced and competent checking technician to maintain safety, accuracy, and workflow on-site.

Working Pattern:

  • 3–5 days per week (flexible depending on availability)
  • Two late shifts: 12:00 – 21:00
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays: 14:00 – 21:00

The Role:

  • Support the dispensary in processing prescriptions efficiently and accurately
  • Carry out final accuracy checks (where qualified) in line with SOPs
  • Work closely with pharmacists and the wider team to manage workflow
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with all pharmacy regulations and SOPs
  • Deliver and support pharmacy services including blood pressure checks, contraception supply, and vaccinations
  • Provide excellent patient care and support with queries where required

What We’re Looking For:

  • GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician
  • Competent and confident accuracy checker (essential)
  • Experience working in a busy pharmacy environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Enthusiastic and proactive in delivering pharmacy services
  • Ability to work efficiently and stay organised under pressure
