Pharmacy Assistant (Dispenser)
📍 Woodley – Units 1 & 2, Loddon Vale Centre, Hurricane Way, Woodley, Reading RG5 4UX

Hours: 37.5 per week

Shift Pattern:
Week 1: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break), Tuesday 9:00am – 12:30pm, Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm

About the Role

Day Lewis is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant (Dispenser) to join our friendly and dynamic team in Woodley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term career in healthcare, medicine, or clinical care.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Pharmacist and ensuring the smooth running of the pharmacy. This position is ideal as a stepping stone into the fast-paced and rewarding world of pharmacy.

• Day Lewis induction training 

• Opportunity to complete a Pharmacy Assistant course (typically 3–6 months, depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacist Manager in delivering high-quality pharmacy services

• Assist in the dispensary, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Provide excellent customer service at the front counter

• Build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Contribute positively to a small, hardworking team
