Day Lewis Pharmacy – Huntingdon Priory Fields

We are recruiting an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our established team at our NHS community pharmacy in Huntingdon.

This is a permanent, part-time role involving late shifts and weekend working, ideal for someone confident in a fast-paced dispensary and medicines counter environment.

Working Pattern – 37 hours per week

Wednesday: 12:00 – 21:00 (8 hours)
Thursday: 12:00 – 21:00 (8 hours)
Friday: 12:00 – 21:00 (8 hours)
Saturday: 14:00 – 21:00 (6.5 hours)
Sunday: 10:00 – 17:00 (6.5 hours)

Total weekly hours: 37 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting dispensing and workflow in a busy pharmacy
• Serving patients at the medicines counter with confidence
• Handling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Stock management, deliveries, and general housekeeping
• Supporting NHS services and maintaining professional standards

About You

• Previous pharmacy assistant experience is essential
• Confident working independently during late shifts
• Reliable, organised, and patient-focused
• Comfortable working with confidentiality and NHS procedures
• A strong team player with a professional attitude
